WGD Announcement
After 14 years of being founder/owner of Wiseman & Gale & Duncan Interiors,
Pam Duncan has announced: “While I continue to love being an interior designer,
I have reached a point in my career where I would like to pass along the day-to-day
management of the business to a new owner. This will allow me more freedom to
pursue additional interests – the most important being the opportunity
to spend more time with my grandchildren!”
“Our dedicated designers and staff have participated with
me in the process of finding a new owner, and I am happy to announce
the search is over. Please join me in welcoming the new owner
of Wiseman & Gale & Duncan Interiors – Chris Pieroth.”
Chris Pieroth is delighted to join the team. His background
includes 20 years in the financial services industry; his last
position was at Citigroup, where he was a Managing Director at
the Corporate and Investment Bank. To quote Chris: “While
I have really enjoyed my corporate career, it does take a toll
from a personal perspective.” Chris’ family lives
in Santa Fe, and so about a year ago he decided to make a change,
which resulted in his moving to Santa Fe. After exploring a number
of opportunities, he came across this one. “I spent some
time getting to know Pam and her husband, Donn, and I thought
they were both wonderful. And, after I met the rest of the designers
and staff, I knew I wanted to be a part of this business.”
Chris is grateful for the support of WGD’s
wonderful clients and wants all of you to know that the things
that make WGD so special are not going to change.
Exciting New Merchandise and A New Look for the Studio!!
Five of our team members hit the road in early October…bound
for Highpoint, North Carolina and Roundtop, Texas (reported to
be excruciatingly hot and humid).
The truck from Roundtop has
arrived and all of the one-of-a-kind pieces will be displayed
throughout the studio. Some items are slated for new finishes
and fabric, but all are most charming as is.

We will be making
final selection and placing orders for accessories from Highpoint.
These new items will provide you with a wide variety of unique
and interesting pieces to enhance your home.
Exciting New Outdoor/Indoor Fabrics
Current fabrics now being offered have
gone far beyond the basic stripes and solids of yesteryear.
While still available, most collections have been charged with
a new vibrancy. New designs have gone into broader ranges of
color, texture and patterns. “Whimsy” is a good
word to describe some of the most recent additions. Many outdoor
fabrics simulate indoor fabrics...imagine chenille or
Fortuny-like fabric on your outdoor furniture.
It’s
time to get going! WGD has the most extensive fabric
library in New Mexico.
